Feature-Packed 6.5

These videos are becoming a regular thing... This one shows two instances of LCARS 47 v6.5 running on twin touchscreens. Dual touchscreens really make the transporter controls an energizing experience... The helm module is also spread across two monitors.

The cursor pads at either side of the touchscreens are part of the helm module in Vexillum, which will work in tandem with Prolixus. 6.5 will support up to six monitors for you to mix and match Vexillum and Prolixus as you desire. If that's not enough, they'll also work over a LAN with other computers running LCARS 47. Want more? If you have an Android smartphone or tablet, then there's Expeditus, which will of course also connect to LCARS 47 running on your LAN. Because why wait for the 24th century?

Working on the medical systems today, starting with that classic "Patient Biomedical Status" seen frequently in Voyager. Convincing readouts are difficult to achieve, theatrically, so a whole day was spent getting this "right" (enough)...

As requested, here's a link to the monitor we used in videos: http://amzn.to/1UL1MC4

I would love to provide some "true" physiologic waveforms - there is also a fantastic App called "Sim Man" software that is free and allows you to display a fully simulated patient monitor (based on Philips Medical Systems) and all the associated waveforms on an external monitor (the external needs to be up and running as a 2nd display prior to launching the Sim Man software, and you can use a smaller monitor in the software to modify the readings and rates. The sim man software is available from Laerdal Medical for free and is for windows. Please contact me if there is anything I can do to assist you in gathering true waveforms etc. Regards - Eric.

Help! A bit confused here. Is this program available now? How do I download it? is it free????

Hi Stephen!

There have been a few delays with 6.5. We're hoping for a summer/autumn release this year (2017). And yes! It will be totally free. We don't junk in ads and toolbars either.

Hi guys. We are really sorry things are taking this long. It's the usual story of we all have to work and life takes over sometimes. We are still working, it's just that we can only do it in our free time.

Things are turning out to take much longer than expected too, as we hit various technical issues which then need solving, and as the technology improves we end up adding more features and creating more work for ourselves. Panel is an example of the latter.

We're not just building 6.5, we're building an engine that will be the basis of not just LCARS 47, but also The Cheyenne Development Project (Stargate), as well as any other stuff we develop.

Much love to you all. You're all super awesome and we thank you guys so much for the support.
